Metapod is a Bug-type Pokémon introduced in the Sun & Moon series. It is the evolution of Wurmple and one of the intermediate forms of the evolutionary line leading to Scyther. With its strong shell, Metapod is able to withstand many enemy attacks.

History of Metapod :
Metapod are often seen as symbols of transformation and patience. As they evolve, they prepare to become powerful Slashers, slowly but surely building up their strength and endurance.

Metapod Abilities:
Metapod is known for its ability to resist enemy attacks thanks to its strong carapace. Although it is less agile than its faster counterparts, Chrysasteel can defend itself with moves such as Armor and Light Wall, boosting its and its team's toughness.
